Introduction to libutempter

The libutempter package is a library that allows non-privileged apps to write utmp info.

Install libutempter by executing the following commands:

patch -Np1 -i ../libutempter-1.2.3-unbreak-reinstall.patch &&
cd libutempter &&
make

Now as the root user:

make install

Installed Programs: utempter

Installed Libraries: libutempter

Installed Directories: /usr/lib/utempter

utempter	is a privileged helper program for utmp/wtmp updates
`libutempter`	contains the utempter library interface
